For the last 6 months, I am reading about data and how data is transforming the landscape of businesses. I have seen so many videos about this subject. I have read different blogs and articles about it. I have gathered a good amount of insights about this topic.

Data is everywhere. A huge number of data is being generated every minute. We are heading towards that time when data will be the reason for war among countries. The world has realized the significance of data. Businesses are completely relying on data and its interpretation. The success of businesses is hidden in managing data.

The business world is very competitive nowadays. A customer has been bombarded with information. Business heads of today’s industry should be very proactive and vigilant about the needs of their target market and should understand the changing shape of the business world. This could only be possible by managing and analyzing the data in the correct manner.

Companies are hiring data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists on a large scale. They understood the dire need for these skill full people.

Let me share some findings of my research about Data and its role in the HR industry.

HR departments use to deal with a large set of data which includes detailed information about their employees and this data helps them to make concrete decisions about the future decisions about them.

This data gives insights related to the performance of each and every employee of the organization. Business heads use this data to set the future direction of the company and it also helps to find the loopholes within the system. By using the visual tools of data analysis HR leaders can view the whole current situation in one frame.

Any of you, who is interested in learning data analysis should learn the following tools and techniques. These tools are pre-requisite for becoming a data analyst.

  1. Learn Advance Excel
  2. Learn SQL (Sequence Query Language)
  3. Learn Power BI and Tableau
  4. Learn Python (Not a complete language, you just need to learn the analysis part of it).

Learning all the above-mentioned tools and software enables you to interpret large sets of data and you will be able to make the rights decisions for your company.
